The Wise Jackal

Once upon a time, in a dense jungle, there lived a wise jackal known for his cunning and sharp intellect. He roamed the forest in search of food, always relying on his wit to survive. One day, while wandering near a village on the outskirts of the jungle, he overheard some men talking about a feast they were preparing for their king.

The jackal, curious and hungry, decided to investigate further. He sneaked into the village and observed the preparations from a distance. He noticed a large pot filled with rich, aromatic curry being cooked over a fire. The aroma was irresistible, and the jackal’s mouth watered at the thought of tasting it.

He crept closer to the pot and, with a quick leap, managed to overturn it, spilling the delicious curry all over the ground. Quickly, he rolled in the spilled curry, coating himself completely, and then fled into the darkness of the jungle.

The next morning, when the villagers found their ruined feast, they were furious. They blamed each other for the mishap, but none suspected the clever jackal. From then on, the wise jackal became known as the trickster of the jungle, using his intelligence to outwit even the most cautious of creatures.
