The Short-Sighted Deer

In a lush green forest, there lived a deer known for its speed and grace. However, the deer was also known for its short-sightedness. It could run swiftly and leap gracefully, but it often failed to see the bigger picture around it. One day, as it grazed peacefully near a riverbank, it heard a rustling noise in the bushes nearby.

Curious but cautious, the deer approached the bushes and saw a hunter setting up a trap with a net. The deer, being short-sighted, thought it was just a pile of leaves and continued grazing closer to the trap. As soon as it stepped on the concealed trigger, the net sprung up and ensnared the deer.
